2020 Northeast Texas Marching Invitational (#NETEX20)
Memorial Stadium on the Campus of Texas A&M–Commerce
Saturday, October 17, 2020

If you are interested in receiving meaningful feedback to take your band’s marching performance to the next level, the Northeast Texas Marching Invitational (NETEX) is a good fit for you.

Register HERE!

NETEX provides an opportunity for your students to visit a big-name university and compete in one of the best stadiums in North Texas before these high-quality adjudicators:

The scoring format for NETEX mirrors the UIL area marching competition format. Awards will be presented for outstanding class 1/2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6A and captions for each class in the preliminary contest. Current plans, subject to change, are for the top 10 bands to advance to finals, giving your band up to two performances with written and oral feedback from our judges and video. Mesquite ISD’s Mike Major is the NETEX contest manager.

With Texas A&M–Commerce as the host site, you will be able to park once and stay for the duration. There are on-campus dining options and several fast-food restaurants within walking distance of the stadium.

Here's how to make plans to participate:

1. Complete the #NETEX20 Registration Form which may be edited up until September 21.
2. Return entry fee of $350 made payable to “Commerce Band Boosters” upon receipt of invoice. We will wait until more information is known regarding marching band competitions for the fall to email invoices.

The registration deadline is September 21, 2020. Entries are limited to the first 20 bands and are filled in the order received. We can accommodate up to 6 semi-trucks. This is a rain or shine event. We will, however, refund registration fees if cancellation is due to COVID-19.
